Quote:Serial Killaz Recordings keeps the pressure firmly applied with Moves EP, a four-track serving of heavyweight drum & bass from Rowney. Blending jump-up energy with dancefloor firepower, the EP packs punchy basslines, razor-sharp production and enough forward momentum to keep soundsystems rattling long after closing time.

Leading the charge is title track Moves, featuring the unmistakable vocals of Alicia King, adding a soulful spark to Rowney's precision-engineered low-end assault, while Serial Killaz themselves add another layer of firepower to Rowney's kung-fu inspired classic Very Strong. Across all four cuts, the Moves EP showcases an artist with a keen ear for dancefloor dynamics, delivering a collection that balances raw impact with infectious groove.

Moves EP lands on Serial Killaz Recordings on 10th July 2026.

Quote:Vital & Dungeon Kru step up swinging with the “Baseball Bat EP” on Serial Killaz Recordings, a rough-edged collection of jump up, dark rollers and stepping drum & bass with plenty of bite to it.

Built for crowded rooms and late-night sets, the EP leans into chunky basslines, restless grooves and that no-nonsense energy. There’s a proper sense of momentum running through the release, shifting between grimy rollers, upfront rave tackle and sharp switch-ups that keep the whole thing lively from start to finish.

“Baseball Bat EP” doesn’t hang around in the dugout for long, with Vital & Dungeon Kru delivering a straight-to-the-point selection that keeps connecting with every swing. Call it a home run if you like, but this one’s clearly aimed squarely at the rave, another solid hit from the Serial Killaz Recordings camp.

Built on a foundation of rolling jungle breaks, earth-shaking low end and deep-rooted reggae sensibilities, "Insane World" carries the unmistakable energy that has made Serial Killaz a fixture on dancefloors and sound systems around the globe. Taking centre stage is Y.T., whose commanding vocal delivery cuts through the track with equal parts urgency and conviction.
As its title suggests, "Insane World" turns its attention to the increasingly bewildering state of modern life. From endless conflicts and political double-speak to the steady stream of scandals, conspiracies and headline-grabbing controversies that dominate the news cycle, Y.T. reflects on a world that often seems to have lost its bearings. Rather than preaching, the track captures the frustration and disbelief felt by many as they try to make sense of events unfolding around them.

Quote:The underlying cost of every .com domain is controlled by a company called Verisign, which holds the registry monopoly. Under their contract with ICANN (the internet governing body), Verisign is legally allowed to increase wholesale prices by 7% every year during the final 4 years of their 6-year contract cycle—which they have been doing consistently.

What you get for the extra money:
From a consumer standpoint, you do not get any new features or added value. The justification used by the registry is that the extra funds go toward handling massive global traffic volume and scaling up cybersecurity infrastructure to protect the root .com network against DDoS attacks. Well AMERICAN GREED is the answer to that one too. Absolute Cunts, the lot of them

I use Copilot at work due to FOMO and it's shoddy as shit.

I've been tracking resources (vague estimates at best, the AI companies have yet to develop an appetite to report resource usage - despite or perhaps because of the incredible drain on resources each AI query) in a bid to understand the cost of doing business as it were. Simple tasks such as filtering and comparing lists of text uses 100s of litres of water on top of the electricity, and I doubt the power to move that water to where it needed to be is taken into account.

Given the 'benefits' it gives me, yeah it can spit out a simple loop in milliseconds for a mere 205 litres, but so can I. The things I could really use assistance with are usually super complicated programming problems. Every single one of these it has been presented with has been an utter waste of time. The first round of responses will suggest things already attempted and discarded, if you can break it out of this loop it might hallucinate some more solutiony looking type stuff - often in a different direction than your prompt or codebase indicates. If you can convince it to refresh its context and not suggest things its already suggested you're doing well, but no dice, it'll now tell you computers dont exist or the language you're using doesn't support the thing.

In my complicated codebase AI simply cannot cut it. I never had to explain any of these things more than once to the graduates and apprentices who have appeared in the team over the yrs and they are able to learn and make meaningful contributions. With Copilot it seems I explain it allot and am yet to profit from a meaningful contribution in return.

My company appear to be quite happy with me spending 1/3 of my time berating an AI assistant (Basil Fawlty style), and encourage it further. I've made my view clear lol so what the actual fuckery is going on? As far as i'm aware the copilot seat is £10k annually... whereas its actual worth so far is less than £100... I cannot see how the investors in AI will make any money at all once people realise its best applications - sifting through gargantuan quantities of data and making inferences, and being a human-esque chatbot - have already been met.

Secondly if the shoe is on the other foot, these genius investors must have done the maths and figured out that once deployed at scale and integrated everywhere (despite the neglible benefits) the data centres will require more water than exists in nature... And i'm not sure where the heat from these data centres will actually go? Oh yeah the environment!! - so locking in a second wave of planet heating, straight after the fossil fuel wave. Just fucking great. I thought these people were supposed to be intelligent.
